I would like to share the speech OLIVIA ADIE, as Young Enterprise Ambassador, presented to the audience at the Business Hall of Fame awards in Auckland recently.
Olivia delivered an incredibly powerful and eloquent account of her challenging health journey and also her life successes, despite being let down by the NZ Health System. She pulled no punches and challenged the bias towards Chronically Ill patients.
She received an emotional standing ovation from a crowd which included the Prime Minister , Deputy Prime Minister and colleagues, as well as many esteemed business people.
A huge thank you to Olivia, for your courage taking the stage and raising awareness for our communities.
More details will follow on the opportunities moving forward for Olivia.
TRIGGER WARNING : It mentions Rachael Palmer, Steph Aston, Georgie Ferris and Ruby Hill.
